Andreea Florenta Isarescu was born on the 3rd of July 1984 in Onesti, Romania.

She was originally coached by Stephan Gal before moving to Deva.

Isarescu's favorite event is the Uneven Bars.

Her parents encouraged her to take up gymnastics when she was young.

Unfortunately, her mum has passed away and her dad has abandoned her, she now considers her team mates as family.

She most admires Lavinia Milosovici, Gina Gogean and Gabriela Scabo.

She has, with her a talisman at all times, for good luck.

She was awarded the National athlete of the year in 1999.
